Position Title: Digital Communication Consultant

Location: Remote / Hybrid

Period: 6-12 months

Overview: We are in search of a Digital Communication Consultant to bolster our health diplomacy endeavors. This pivotal role requires the development and execution of digital communication strategies

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute digital communication strategies to drive health diplomacy objectives.
  • Manage and optimize the organization’s digital presence across platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, and Youtube
  • Proficiency in WordPress for website management is required.
  • Craft engaging and tailored content for social media platforms to enhance audience engagement and reach.
  • Manage website content across platforms including WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and various Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Utilize design platforms like Canva and Photoshop, along with other commonly used tools, to create visually appealing website elements.
  • Monitor and analyze digital metrics to evaluate performance and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Facilitate virtual meetings, webinars, and events utilizing platforms such as Zoom and Teams.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to align digital communication efforts with organizational goals.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, International Relations, or related field; alternatively, over five years of relevant experience.

Experience Background:

  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing impactful digital communication strategies.
  • Proficiency in major social media platforms.
  • Expertise in WordPress, social media management, and virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom and Teams.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, and other tools, for document creation, data management, and collaboration.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Previous experience within the health or international relations sectors is advantageous.

Language: Proficiency in English is mandatory, with bilingual proficiency in French or Spanish considered advantageous.

Proposal Submission: Interested candidates are requested to provide together with their CV/Resume a detailed proposal outlining their previous experience, methodology, timeline, and hourly rate. Estimated weekly workload of 12- 16 hours.

Proposals should exhibit a deep understanding of the organization’s objectives and target audience, as well as a commitment to delivering measurable outcomes.
