Position Title: Digital Communication Consultant
Location: Remote / Hybrid
Period: 6-12 months
Overview: We are in search of a Digital Communication Consultant to bolster our health diplomacy endeavors. This pivotal role requires the development and execution of digital communication strategies
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute digital communication strategies to drive health diplomacy objectives.
- Manage and optimize the organization’s digital presence across platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, and Youtube
- Proficiency in WordPress for website management is required.
- Craft engaging and tailored content for social media platforms to enhance audience engagement and reach.
- Manage website content across platforms including WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and various Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Utilize design platforms like Canva and Photoshop, along with other commonly used tools, to create visually appealing website elements.
- Monitor and analyze digital metrics to evaluate performance and inform strategic decision-making.
- Facilitate virtual meetings, webinars, and events utilizing platforms such as Zoom and Teams.
- Collaborate closely with team members to align digital communication efforts with organizational goals.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, International Relations, or related field; alternatively, over five years of relevant experience.
Experience Background:
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing impactful digital communication strategies.
- Proficiency in major social media platforms.
- Expertise in WordPress, social media management, and virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom and Teams.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, and other tools, for document creation, data management, and collaboration.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Previous experience within the health or international relations sectors is advantageous.
Language: Proficiency in English is mandatory, with bilingual proficiency in French or Spanish considered advantageous.
