About the Organization
The Health Diplomacy Alliance (HDA) is a nonprofit organization that advances health equity, sustainability, and international cooperation. By engaging with diplomatic missions, UN agencies, civil society, and academia, HDA supports cross-sectoral dialogue and action at the intersection of health and diplomacy.
Internship Description
This internship offers students the opportunity to contribute to HDA’s communications and outreach work in a highly international, mission-driven environment. Interns will support content creation, digital campaigns, and engagement around health and diplomacy events.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and schedule content for HDA’s social media platforms;
- Assist in drafting and updating website content and newsletters;
- Contribute to visual materials including flyers, infographics, and event announcements;
- Monitor engagement and help prepare communications reports;
- Support coordination and promotion of webinars and in-person events;
- Conduct light research on communications trends and digital engagement strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies in communications, marketing, digital media, or a related field;
- Excellent written and spoken English (minimum C1 level);
- Interest in strategic communication for international and nonprofit audiences;
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content planning tools;
- Experience with basic graphic design or video editing tools is a plus;
- Working knowledge of Spanish and/or French is considered an asset.
