Health Diplomacy Alliance
Our history
-
Why
Our Alliance was born from a pressing need to harness the finesse of diplomacy in catalyzing the intricate complexities of geopolitics and foreign affairs that shape health.
-
The pre-incubation phase (2000)
It all started in 2020, a time of unprecedented challenges, when its founder and a group of experts converged, driven by a shared mission: to elevate health diplomacy for tackling the world’s most critical health challenges. The pre-incubation phase sowed the seed of an Alliance that would grow into something promising and remarkable.
-
Officially Established (2024)
By January 2024, we officially established ourselves in Geneva, Switzerland, as the first Alliance dedicated solely to health diplomacy, bringing our vision to life. What began as a coalition of dedicated professionals is fast evolving into a dynamic and expanding collaboration network.
Health Diplomacy Alliance
Our logo, reflecting our aim, and put in the image by experienced graphist Happy Larache, reflects global collaboration and shared purpose.
The globe represents unity, the green leaf signifies sustainability, and the red heart symbolizes care and collaboration.
Hands meeting in friendship at the heart of the design emphasizes the Alliance’s commitment to cooperation and fostering partnerships for a healthier world.

Our Mission
To place health at the heart of foreign policy, promoting health diplomacy to drive global collaboration, enhance stability, and promote economic prosperity.

This combination of expertise and legacy ensures the effective pursuit of the organization’s mission.
