The Health Diplomacy Alliance is an organization registered under Art. 60–79 of the Swiss Civil Code and recognized as a public utility serving the general interest by the Canton of Geneva.
Our governance is led by a distinguished board of experts in international relations, public health, and philanthropy.
This leadership provides strategic and legal oversight through a model of professional independence and high-level governance.
The General Assembly will ensure the organization’s governance is transparent, accountable, and aligned with its mission, with key responsibilities including the approval of annual reports, the nomination and removal of Board members and external auditors, and the admission and exclusion of Alliance members

In January 2024, HDA was established in Geneva, Switzerland, as the first Organization dedicated solely to health diplomacy. It operates at the crossroads of health and power dynamics, promoting cooperation where political interests often block collective action
Our Founder understand the value of HDA as an organization born to look diplomatic solution to the growing gap between health priorities and political decision-making. Drawing on her experience across health policy and international diplomacy, the Founder set the Alliance’s strategic direction, anchored it in Geneva’s multilateral ecosystem and regional work.
