A youth-led platform created to provide young leaders and early-career professionals a space to engage in global health and health diplomacy. It is legally incorporated within the Advisory Committee of the Health Diplomacy Alliance.
On September 24, 2024, during the UN Summit of the Future in New York.
To empower and equip young professionals to lead health diplomacy by connecting global strategies to local impact through innovation, collaboration, and capacity building.
We are governed by a Bureau composed of a Chair, Vice-Chair, Working Group Liaison, External Relations Lead, and Rapporteur. Young professionals join as members in an individual capacity and engage continuously with the planning and execution of activities in an inclusive and collaborative manner.
Our work is organized into four working groups: One Health, Environment and Climate Change, Sustainable Health Financing, and Digital Health and Health Technologies.
We have conducted a range of initiatives focused towards empowering youth in global health and providing opportunities to engage, learn, discuss, and grow together as a community. Some initiatives we organized included the Lakeside Diplomacy Stroll, International Youth Day 2025 social media campaign, Webinars on Digital Health Innovation and the Mental Health consequences of Climate Change, launching the Health Diplomacy Youth Speak Podcast, and the 2025 Global Intergenerational Dialogue on AMR.
Youth in the age group 18-35 from various backgrounds, gender groups, and abilities residing in all regions of the world are welcome to join us. Your interest towards global health, health diplomacy, health policy and advocacy, and public health is key.
As a member, you are expected to actively engage in HDYN activities, contribute youth perspectives to health diplomacy initiatives, collaborate with stakeholders, promote the Network’s mission, and uphold its values with integrity and inclusivity.
As a member, you will gain hands-on experience in a collaborative international environment, contribute to real-world health diplomacy initiatives, develop professionally, and build strong networks with global youth leaders and experts.
Submit your application via the Job Openings portal on our website or in this Form. The Bureau will carefully screen incoming applications on a rolling basis and communicate the outcome to successful candidates.
