The Health Diplomacy Alliance (HDA) and the Andrew M. and Jane M. Bursky School of Public Health at Washington University in St. Louis have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), focused on global health governance and the relationship between academic evidence and health diplomacy.
The collaboration will provide a basis for academic and policy exchange on global health issues, including governance, health security, and the use of evidence in health policy discussions, allowing the two institutions to work together on research, publications, and academic convenings where their respective areas of work intersect.
The partnership connects the Bursky School’s academic expertise with HDA’s work in health diplomacy, helping bring research closer to policy discussions while giving academic work a clearer view of the political context in which global health decisions are made. Through the collaboration, both institutions will contribute to discussions on how evidence can better inform global health policy and decision-making.
