The 81st session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 81) opens Tuesday, 8 September 2026. Our team will be in New York from 21-25 September to engage, follow, and engage with major discussions around the high-level segment in a moment of upcoming new leadership in both the UN and WHO as we move into paths of reform.

Throughout high-level UNGA81 and Climate Week NYC, our team will engage with policymakers, partners, academia, and civil society on the governance challenges shaping health and foreign policy. We will be hosting and co-hosting several other sessions on related areas, including:

An informal conversation to examine major reform efforts, including the UN80 Initiative, the WHO Joint Process, and others, and what they mean for health, climate, and international governance.
